Our award-winning team offers value and service to UMB in the following ways: Cost: Compared to outside vendors, our services are the least expensive. In two years, there has been no increase in price. (For example, OEA has saved the School of Nursing 50 percent on jobs previously contracted externally.)

NEWS BUREAU The News Bureau, within the Office of External Affairs, is your connection to the University and the news. Our News Bureau Team Our News Bureau team is here to help journalists get the information they need about University of Maryland news, faculty, programs, and research, and to help faculty share their work with the media. Each school has a contact person in the Office of External Affairs to collaborate on their media relations. WEB The Web Developer in the Office of External Affairs is responsible for the content and design of the UMB homepage, OEA pages, and the Web page for the Office of the President. The Office of External Affairs (OEA) is responsible for establishing and keeping up-to-date the University’s Web standards regarding color and design. The OEA Web developer is available to assist schools and units in adapting their Web pages to comply with University standards and consult on design and content aspects of Web pages.
