Web Development

The content and design of the UMB homepage, Publications, News Bureau related websites, and the Office of the President Web page are the responsibility of the Office of External Affairs.

The Office of External Affairs (OEA) is responsible for establishing and keeping up-to-date the University’s web standards regarding color and design. The OEA web developer is available to assist schools and units in adapting their Web pages to comply with University standards and consult on design and content aspects of Web pages.

Web application development (using Coldfusion), campus-wide Web design and development, and server administration are the responsibility of the Center for Information Technology Services Web Development Department.

The University Seal

The official seal of the University of Maryland, Baltimore is the official seal of the State of Maryland with the words "University of Maryland Baltimore" encircling it. The seal is available in a three-color format or as a black outline. Follow the image link that matches your graphic needs: For Web use, choose the JPG version (72 dpi). For print production, choose the TIFF version (300 dpi).

The Bicentennial Seal

The University celebrates its bicentennial year in 2007.  A special seal was designed to celebrate this event.  The seal is available in a three-color format or as a black outline. Follow the image link that matches your graphic needs: For web, use the JPG version, for print, use either the black and white EPS or color EPS.
