Community Programs
in the Dental School
Description: The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Dental School and the dental clinic at the James L. Kernan Hospital have increased their capacity to treat children with complicated dental conditions, including treatment in an operation room setting.
These programs are also reaching out to Head Start centers in rural areas to serve young children who have limited access to dental care.
